Try This Amazing Recipe Of Mixed Vegetable Raita

Raita is is an Indian salad prepared with thick yogurt normally distributed with biryani/parathas/mixed rice varieties/rice. For me, the meal of biryani is incomplete without raita. I prepare the mixed veg raita to have with mutton biryani & it is a great combination.

There is no specific measure for the recipe, just use the veggies as you prefer them to be & your flavorful mixed veg raita is ready.

There is nothing better than combining the favorite dish with any kind of raita. Raita is one of the most preferred side dishes & could be prepared with several variants. One of the scrumptious raita recipe is this. It tastes best and luxurious when you have it with Mughlai meal along with a few pickle & papad. Try it with your family & friends to treat your taste buds.

Ingredients of Vegetable Raita:
  • curd (yogurt)-2 cup 
  • cucumber-2
  • roasted cumin powder-1 tbsp
  • salt-1/2 tsp
  • onion-2 
  • coriander leaves-1 tbsp
  • spice chili powder-1/2 tsp
  • tomato-2 

How to make Vegetable Raita:

1) Start with well chopped cucumbers, tomatoes & onions on a chopping board.

2) Take a vessel & drop roasted cumin powder, yogurt & salt in a vessel. combine these components properly together. Drop sliced coriander leaves into the yogurt mix. Mix this mixture finely.

3) Lastly drop the sliced veggies in the yogurt mix & combine the ingredients slowly. The raita is ready to be distributed. Decorate it with chili powder & enjoy.

Notes:

You could even drop veggies like boiled potato, cabbage, etc or any of the favorite vegetable.

Use thick curd. You could prepare this a salad with less raita & serve this to your kids, tasty & colorful that they cant say no to it.

You could even drop pepper powder.

There is no exact measurement for this raita, you could plus/minus as per your choice.
